Record polo season in Poland in 2026 - as many as 19 tournaments to be held

The Polish polo community has agreed on the official tournament calendar for the 2026 season. The upcoming year promises to be exceptionally intense, as a total of 19 polo tournaments will be held in Poland, organised at the country's most important polo centres.

The calendar includes both tournaments for experienced players and events aimed at younger competitors. The season programme also features a children's tournament - the Polo Kids Cup, which will take place at Buksza Polo Club. This event aims to support the development of young players and promote polo among the youngest generation.

Handicap approval for the 2026 season

Alongside the calendar finalisation, player handicaps for the 2026 season were also approved by the committee. Representatives from polo clubs across Poland participated in the process: Pawel Olbrych, Tomasz Tokarczyk, Michal Czartoryski, Marianna Olbrych and Mateusz Switalski.

During the meeting, both general player handicaps and women's handicaps were approved for the 2026 season.

Outlook for the 2026 season

The agreed calendar and approved handicaps allow clubs and players to begin preparations for the upcoming season, which promises to be one of the most active in the history of Polish polo.
