FIP confirms the membership of the Polish Polo Association and its growing role on the international stage

The Federation Internationale de Polo (FIP) - the world federation governing the discipline of polo - has officially confirmed the membership of the Polish Polo Association for 2026, thereby highlighting Poland's active role in the international structures of the sport.

Membership in FIP is a key element in the development of polo in Poland, enabling participation in international competitions, cooperation with other federations and operating in accordance with the highest sporting standards.

European Championship in Poland

One of the most important moments for Polish polo was the organisation of the XV FIP European Championship in 2025, which took place at Sowiniec Polo Club. This event confirmed Poland's ability to host prestigious tournaments and strengthened its position on the European and global polo map.

"Membership in FIP is of key importance for the development of polo in Poland. It gives us access to the international community, sets the highest standards and opens the way for our players and clubs to compete on the international stage. Hosting the European Championship was a tremendous honour for us and motivation for further development."

— Marek Setkiewicz, President of the Polish Polo Association

The Polish Polo Association consistently develops its international presence, building a strong and increasingly recognisable brand of Polish polo worldwide.
